MISC THREAD: RESPAWN EDITION

In realative calm, a medic might drop a med kit and say something like "here's a med kit for you buddy"... when bullets are flying and the shit is hitting the fan... the same medic will drop a kit and say "grab this fucking kit a patch yourself up NOW".

This is multiplayer random chatter I'm talking about... and it's just very cool.

This is the most believeable and realistic shooter I've ever played. Is it the best? I don't know... I really like the chaotic pace and run and gun style of MW and MW2... that being said, there are tons of reasons NOT to play those, the community being one of them. There are NO reasons not to play this one... so maybe it is the best MP game ever on a console. Probably is.

I am only scratching the surface of things I like about it... another is the "chaos" of it all... when grenades are going off, walls are caving in, and bullets are ripping through walls... there's dust and dirt everywhere REALISTICALLY. It's actually quite beauitiful in it's chaos if you know what I mean.

If this isn't enough to convince you... then I won't go on with 5 more pages.

Knowing each and every one of our styles pretty well... this is probalby the best game for all of us to play together. It's not MW style (that I liked) and it's not GRAW realism (that Gfunk liked)... its' such a happy medium of the best of every game that it's nearly "perfect" in my eyes.

Single player is awesome too... but only about 6 hours long. Not as much in your face humor as the first, but just as good... and still funny. Awesome ending sequence though!

There are even two jokes in the single plaeyer aimed DIRECTLY at Modern Warfare 2... they are well done, fit in the game, and hit MW2 directly in the balls... it made me laugh out loud for minutes... each joke.

The first joke aimed directly at MW2 (and it's MP players) is as follows (during a cutscene):

Seargent: "I should clear this with Braywood"

Sweetwater: "No, no, no, no, no... he'll just send some Special Ops douchebags with pussy-ass heartbeat monitors on their guns instead of us"

I was lauging my ass of and thinking "Oh, NO they didn't!"

The second one is during a chase sequence on 4 wheelers...

Sweetwater: "If this was a snowmobile race, I'd take you down"

Haggard: "It's not a snowmobile race, snowmobiles are for sissies"

Yeah ive just finished the single player on the PS3 and would recommend it very highly.The MP is not bad albeit a lot better when i had the 360 version as the PS3 community arent the most chatty of people online.

This game in my opinion surpasses the shit that was Modern Warfare 2s lacklustre single player and has less cheating bastards than MW2s online multiplayer.Plus one big bonus is if say Giles was to run into a building to escape me in a tank, i could just either a) ram through the wall in pursuit or b) take the wall down with a rocket and pursue him.Its fookin awesome !!
